The official page for our Titletown Open XIII homebrew competition has been updated! TTO13 will be held on April 20-21, 2007, at Titletown. On that page you will find the entry forms in PDF format. This year you can even fill out entry forms online. There is also a registration form for judges and stewards.

Mike sent along the minutes of the December meeting (MS Word format) for your perusal, if you are so inclined.

Your faithful webmaster has been attempting to update the meeting schedule page to reflect the fact that we will be having brews at every meeting in 2007. I think I've got the Javascript fixed that automagically updates the "Next Meeting" information above. Fred Matzke has volunteered to do the brew for January at the House of Homebrew. He will do an extract batch. We need brewers for February, April, June, October, November, and December. If we don't get brewers, the meetings in those months will be held at Titletown.

Don't forget about the Christmas (or Holiday or Festivus or whatever you hippies are calling it these days when you're not listening to your Strawberry Alarm Clock LPs backwards) Party on Sunday, January 14, at 1:00 P.M. at Ned Kelly's in Green Bay.

Al Hendricks wrote in to say that Trout Springs Winery in Greenleaf has fresh grape juice from their very own vines for sale for any of the wine-makers in our club. If you are interested or for more information contact Steve at the winery at (920)864-7761. Update! Al wrote back to indicate that it is in fact not juice that is available but rather the grapes after pressing. They can be rehydrated with water and sugar and fermented.

Also, Mike sent information about the Upper Mississippi Mash-Out that will be held in St. Paul, MN. Entries will be accepted from January 1-13, 2007. For more information, visit their website.

Mike Conard wrote in to say that the hard drive crashed on his computer and he lost everything. Please send him an email with your contact information. I hope this means that our esteemed secretary/treasurer will be investing in a DVD burner.

Three updates in three days? Yikes! Anyway, Bob sent along word that the House of Homebrew is ordering copies of Brew Your Own's 150 Classic Clone Recipes. If you are interested, please send an email as soon as possible.

Also, Hans Schlegel emailed us to let us know that he's got a wine/cider press that he wants to sell for $220. He lives in Two Rivers. If you are interested, please send him an email.

I added pictures from the September club brew at Chris Schroeder's place. Since we have so many pictures now, I moved them from the schedule page to their own page. Note that the earliest years are still in the old site layout.

Ryan Loock sent me the brand spanking new newsletter, containing many correctly spelled words. Check it out!

President Bob sends along the unfortunate news that Slab City brewing is shutting down. I remember driving in and around Bonduel trying to find the place when they first opened.

Many moons ago, Ed Mathis sent along the results of the Schooner competition in which Ed took a first, second, and third. Belated congratulations!

In a vain attempt to make up for some of my recent slacking, I have posted a slew of pictures that were given to me by Chuck Golueke. They are from the April meeting, the May club brew at Dan Rogers' place, the picnic, and the July club brew at my place. More to come!
