The Rackers took eight of a possible nine points in the Fox Valley Cup for Keggers at the S.O.B.'s competition. You can see the winners here. Congratulations go out to Fred Matzke for taking second in Group A and to Trevor LaRene for taking second in Group C and third in Group A. Let's get those beers ready for our tenth annual Titletown Open in May!

John Allen has graciously volunteered to host our club brew in May. We already have four of the six spots filled! Thank you! If anyone is interested in hosting the March or November brews, please email me! I hope a bunch of people will drive up here to Oconto Falls when Ryan and I host the July brew.

Welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved Rackers.org! As of right now, this is the only page converted over to the new format. Slowly, but surely, I will convert the rest of the site. If you have any comments on the new design, please let me know!
Don't forget that tomorrow is our Christmas party at Titletown Brewing. The club will be buying food. Bring your favorite Christmas spiced/winter warmer beers to share. gak also mentions that if you want, you can bring your entries for the S.O.B.'s Big Beer competition and he will personally hand-deliver them. How's that for service?

Pictures from our September club brew at Mike Conard's place and our November club brew at gak's place have been posted. Thanks go out to Dan Rogers for the pictures, even though he sent me the November ones 15 times.
The November brew brings the 2003 club brews to a close. I am looking for people willing to host a brew in 2004. President Bob has already volunteered for January. If you are interested, email me!
The official website for the Fox Valley Cup for Keggers has been brought online by our very own gak. The first event will be the SOB Big Beer Competition in December. Get brewing!
gak also sent word that B.United supposedly will be importing Zum Uerige Sticke Altbier in January with their regular Altbier to follow later in the year. This would be a wonderful opportunity for American beer lovers to enjoy the archetypal Düsseldorfer Altbier. A note to any local liquor stores: gak and I will be buying this in mass quantities if you carry it. Hint, hint.

gak emailed to announce the SOB Big Beer Competition. Entries are due by December 12 and must have a starting gravity of at least 1.070. This event is a part of that intra-club competition we've been working on. The more entries from our club, the more points we get!
