The Association of Brewers (AOB): A non-profit organization encompassing the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), the Institute for Brewing Studies (IBS), and Brewers Publications. They also run the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). The Rackers are an AHA-affiliated club.
BJCP Style Guidelines: These are the official guidelines used for judging the Titletown Open as well as most, if not all, of the other competitions in the U.S.

SUDS: An easy-to-use homebrewing program for Windows 3.x and 95. A completely revamped version, SUDS 6.3, is now available.
BeerSmith: A newcomer to the Windows brewing software scene, BeerSmith gives an Explorer-like interface to your brewing world.
Brewer's Workshop: A quite powerful recipe program that allows you to set up mash schedules, automatically adjust your water, and just about anything else you might like to do. It is a native Win 3.x app.
HBRCP: aka Homebrewing Recipe Calculating Program for Win 3.x. It takes a little getting used to, but it has many powerful features.
